About Jackie

In choosing a massage therapist, it is important to realize that the work of no two massage therapists is exactly alike, even if they have exactly the same training. Each therapist develops a rhythm, sequence and energy that is uniquely his or her own. It is important to find a therapist with whom you are comfortable and who will work within your comfort level to develop personalized treatments to meet your specific needs.

Having worked in Texas, Florida and North Carolina, Jackie has shared her unique gift of touch with clients from around the world. Many of them have become repeat clients after the first session. It has not been unusual for her spa clients to tell the owner that Jackie’s massage is the best they have ever experienced.

Her technique incorporates long full body strokes, which work with the body's natural energy pathways and lead to the deepest relaxation along with firm pressure to specific areas to remove 'knots' in the tissues. She also incorporates energy work to balance the body's energies and to listen to the body so that specific techniques may be utilized in different areas.

Jackie is a graduate of Texas Healing Arts School of Massage in Austin, TX and studied further in Florida, obtaining national certification. She has been a professional massage therapist since 1998. Jackie is a Reiki Master and has been practicing and teaching Reiki since 1997.

She holds a B.S. in education from East Texas State University and worked with disabled people for more than 15 years.

Jackie feels that her work is a gift that she has been given to share with the world, and she considers it a blessing for her to have this opportunity to help other people in this way.
