Chair Massage

Many businesses and corporations are investing in wellness programs for the workplace to reduce workplace stress which is often the cause of absenteeism, high turnover, low productivity, job-related accidents, compensation claims, health insurance and medical expenses.

Chronic pain, hypertension, and headaches are responsible for over 50% of absences. 60-90% of all visits to healthcare professionals are stress-related. If employees have headaches, pains, soreness, stiffness, or poor circulation resulting from sport injuries, accidents, health problems, or repetitive actions on the job, they may be restricted from leading the life they want.

According to a 1996 survey of employees who regularly receive therapeutic massage on-site at a major corporation: ·

92% said it increased alertness, motivation, and productivity
83% said it addressed a problem so medical attention was not necessary
66% said it had enabled them to stay at work when they otherwise would have
gone home sick

Because massage helps relieve stress, it can improve job productivity, which is motivating many companies to provide workplace massage therapy.

Rates for chair massage are $1.00 per minute with a 20 minute maximum per massage and a 3 hour minimum per call.
